Boy in a canoe

Almost everyone has a conoe to get around.  The kids go to school in canoes and the market place is a congregation of boats packed with fruit and vegtables and other household needs.

Ganvié street

Ganvié street

Ganvié is a wonderful place. There are 25,000 people living in stilt houses. The town boasts schools, a health centre, workshops, a hotel and two restaurants.
