Cashew nuts are poisonous unless they are roasted before there are eaten. This man has just picked a handful of nuts and is roasting them on an open fire.

Rolien and Wilco are good friends of our who live in the forest in the Methodist Mission in Brikama. Wilco is a VSO volunteer advising in the Teachers Training College here.  Rolien works with severely disabled children in the surrounding villages.
