Reclining Buddha at the Long Son Pagoda. The hillside behind the pagoda is dominated by the huge white buddha built in 1963 to sympolise the Buddhist struggle against the corrupt and repressive Diem regime which governed South Vietnam.
Tran Phu the Nha Tranng beach front road lined with hotels, spas and restaurants. Vietnam is full of huge billboards depicting "Uncle Ho" and his message.
Po Nagar Cham Tower built by the Hindu Cham people between the 7th and 12th Century. Margaret enjoying an boat trip to the islands off Nha Trang. In the background is a typical tourist boat.
The Cai River to the north of Nha Trang is the home of the fishing fleet. Some of the houses a basic and flimsy.
